Hubei Yihua Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Yihua Group) originated from the Yichang Regional Chemical Plant established in 1977. It is a key state-owned enterprise under the jurisdiction of Yichang City and is hailed as the “eldest son of Yichang’s industrial sector.” The group currently employs over 20,000 staff members. Yihua Group operates more than 30 production-oriented subsidiaries across Hubei, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, and other regions, and holds a controlling stake in the listed company Hubei Yihua (000422.SZ). It holds mineral reserves of coal, phosphate, and salt totaling 2.7 billion tons, with an annual production capacity of 40 million tons. The company currently produces 25 main products, including: 2.3 million tons of phosphate compound fertilizer, 2.2 million tons of urea, 1.14 million tons of polyvinyl chloride resin, 810,000 tons of caustic soda, 80,000 tons of melamine, 80,000 tons of sodium hypochlorite, 60,000 tons of pentaerythritol, 60,000 tons of biodegradable materials, and 20,000 tons of trimethylolpropane. The products enjoy a good reputation in both domestic and international markets and are widely sold in India, Pakistan, Russia, and Southeast Asia, among other countries and regions.
