Job Description

The Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPE) was formerly known as the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICMS), which was founded in 1958. The Institute of Process Engineering now has the National Key Laboratory of Mesoscience and Low Carbon Engineering, the Key Laboratory of Biopharmaceutical Preparation and Delivery, the National Engineering Research Center of Green Recycling of Strategic Metal Resources, the Key Laboratory of Green Process and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other scientific research institutions. Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPE, CAS) has two postdoctoral research stations, Chemical Engineering and Technology and Environmental Science and Engineering, and invites excellent PhDs to work in the institute.

The research interests of the Computational Reaction Engineering group are green chemistry, reactor engineering, aerospace power composites and biometallurgy. Using modeling, numerical simulation and advanced experimental measurement techniques, we study the mechanism and laws of multiphase mixing, flow, transfer and reaction in stirred reactors, crystallizers, circulating reactors, slurry bed reactors, fluidized bed reactors, fixed bed reactors and other equipments, and invent and industrially scale up new reactors and apply them to achieve energy saving and energy consumption reduction (greening and intelligence), which have been applied in the industrial production and GF of organosilicones, caprolactam, electronics and other chemicals. grade chemicals and other industrial production and GF, with remarkable economic and social benefits. He has presided over the key special projects of the National Key R&D Program (Ministry of Science and Technology), the National Key Research Instrument Development Project (Foundation Committee), the National Major Fund Project, the National Key Fund Project, the Class A Strategic Pilot Science and Technology Special Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and many corporate projects such as Sinopec and PetroChina. The Computational Reaction Engineering Group of Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences is now recruiting 1 postdoctoral fellow according to the development needs. The job requirements are as follows:

Recruitment Positions
1. Number of Recruitment: 1 postdoctoral fellow.
2. Recruitment Target: Age not more than 35 years old; full-time unified recruitment and unification of fresh doctoral graduates in 2025 or former doctoral graduates at home and abroad who have graduated not more than 3 years ago.

Research Direction
Multiphase numerical simulation, multiphase reactor design

Requirements
1. With excellent political quality, moral integrity, decent style, hard work, physical and mental health with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit.
2. With computational fluid dynamics, chemical engineering, artificial intelligence, interface physical chemistry and other related professional doctoral degree; with multiphase reactor modeling and simulation, multiphase flow and transfer of numerical simulation, multiphase reactor optimization / design experience, in particular, with bubbles / droplets / particles aggregation and fragmentation of the model and simulation, the PBE model, the model of the interphase force is preferred; able to be fully relieved from work to engage in postdoctoral research.
