Job Description

I. Position Requirements
1. Uphold the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, abide by national laws and regulations, and possess good moral character;
2. Possess good academic ethics and innovative abilities, have accumulated research experience and significant potential for development, and have no history of research misconduct;
3. Be no older than 35 years of age (calculated from the date of joining the program), have obtained a PhD within the past three years, or be a recent graduate who has successfully defended their PhD thesis;
4. Possess strong research and writing abilities, and be capable of diligently completing postdoctoral research work;
5. Have significant research achievements, including multiple research papers published as the first author in leading international academic journals;
6. Be able to work full-time in the laboratory during the employment period.

II. Professional Requirements
Applicants with a background in alkali metal ion batteries, semi-solid/solid-state batteries, polymer solid-state electrolytes/inorganic solid-state electrolytes, electrochemistry, or battery-related theoretical calculations from renowned domestic or international universities or research institutions in fields such as chemistry, materials science, physics, or engineering will be given priority consideration.

III. Job Responsibilities
1. Participate in various research projects undertaken by the research group;
2. Participate in the organization and coordination of laboratory academic activities, and engage in international academic cooperation and exchange;
3. Independently or assist the principal investigator (PI) in project management, project applications, participating in project design, writing papers or patents, etc.;
4. Assist in guiding graduate students.

IV. Salary and Benefits
1. Two-year contract with an annual salary starting at RMB 380,000 (including government subsidies);
2. Eligible candidates may apply for free talent housing or rental subsidies (RMB 2,000/month);
3. Those who remain in Jiangsu after completing their postdoctoral program may apply for government subsidies, including living allowances of RMB 200,000–300,000 and housing subsidies of RMB 200,000–400,000;
