Job Description

I. Job Responsibilities
1. Track disciplinary trends and solicit high-quality manuscripts;
2. Monitor the development trends of disciplinary journals and promote journal development;
3. Organize journal promotional activities and participate in journal publication and distribution;
4. Participate in journal layout design, typesetting, and proofreading;
5. Participate in the design, construction, and operation and maintenance of the journal website;
6. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

II. Qualifications
1. PhD in biology, ecology, basic medicine, or English. Candidates with intermediate professional qualifications in publishing are preferred. Outstanding master’s degree holders who are passionate about journal development may be considered with relaxed educational requirements;
2. Proficient in English, able to read and understand English materials fluently. Candidates who have published high-quality SCI papers are preferred;
3. Strong writing and language comprehension skills;
4. Professional knowledge of online new media content, high sensitivity to news and information, ability to plan special topics, capable of independently conducting journal promotion and planning, and having a certain understanding and insights into journal operations;
5. Familiarity with common editing and office software such as Office, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver, and proficiency in web page editing.

III. Post-employment Management and Benefits
1. The salary for this position is based on the special research assistant program. Generally, the position is at the intermediate level, but exceptionally outstanding candidates may apply for the associate senior level. Employment contracts are signed in accordance with national, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and institute regulations. After the employment contract expires, candidates may apply for a permanent position. For those with relaxed educational requirements, project-based employment is adopted, with a talent service contract signed between the third-party company and the individual. Salary and benefits are determined in accordance with institute regulations, with performance-based wages linked to actual work volume and achievements;
2. The annual salary for Special Research Assistants ranges from 200,000 to 300,000 yuan, with exceptional candidates eligible for negotiation;
3. Social insurance and housing provident fund contributions are made in accordance with Yunnan Province regulations;
4. Special Research Assistants are entitled to various benefits comparable to those of civil service staff, and may apply for a doctoral relocation subsidy of 60,000 to 220,000 yuan in accordance with institute regulations;
5. Other benefits are administered in accordance with institute policies and regulations.
